My heart is parched ¹  and withered like grass, for I am unable ²  to eat food. ³ 

They lost their appetite for all food, ¹  and they drew near the gates of death.

The one who heeds instruction ¹  is on the way to ²  life, but the one who rejects ³  rebuke goes astray.

Train ¹  a child ²  in the way that he should go, ³  and when he is old he will not turn from it. ⁴ 

Like cold water to a weary person, ¹  so is good news from a distant land. ² 

I will restore Judah and Israel ¹  and will rebuild them as they were in days of old. ² 

For this reason whoever is smart ¹  keeps quiet ²  in such a time, for it is an evil ³  time.

So ¹  they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

Then ¹  they went to Capernaum. ²  When the Sabbath came, ³  Jesus ⁴  went into the synagogue ⁵  and began to teach.

because they did not understand about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “Why do we still need witnesses?

For what does it benefit a person ¹  if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a letter ¹  in the law to become void. ² 

Many of them were saying, “He is possessed by a demon and has lost his mind! ¹  Why do you listen to him?”

While Peter was still thinking seriously about ¹  the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Look! Three men are looking for you.

When ¹  I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance ² 

But Paul replied, ¹  “I have not lost my mind, most excellent Festus, ²  but am speaking ³  true and rational ⁴  words.

and if you are convinced ¹  that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

So by your knowledge the weak brother or sister, ¹  for whom Christ died, is destroyed. ² 

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins.
