And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by how you use worldly wealth, ¹  so that when it runs out you will be welcomed ²  into the eternal homes. ³ 

I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. ¹ 

I tell you the truth, ¹  whoever does not receive ²  the kingdom of God like a child ³  will never ⁴  enter it.”

‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more, ¹  but from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. ² 

For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit ¹  of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you the solemn truth, ²  unless a person is born from above, ³  he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ⁴ 

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but ²  you people ³  do not accept our testimony. ⁴ 

Jesus answered them, “I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  everyone who practices ²  sin is a slave ³  of sin.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  if anyone obeys ²  my teaching, ³  he will never see death.” ⁴ 

“I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  the one who does not enter the sheepfold ²  by the door, ³  but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  the slave ²  is not greater than his master, nor is the one who is sent as a messenger ³  greater than the one who sent him.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  whoever accepts ²  the one I send accepts me, and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.” ³ 

When he had said these things, Jesus was greatly distressed ¹  in spirit, and testified, ²  “I tell you the solemn truth, ³  one of you will betray me.” ⁴ 

Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? ¹  I tell you the solemn truth, ²  the rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times!

At that time ¹  you will ask in my name, and I do not say ²  that I will ask the Father on your behalf.

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates ¹  the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is he? ²  (I am speaking in human terms.) ³ 

But again I ask, didn’t Israel understand? ¹  First Moses says, “I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; with a senseless nation I will provoke you to anger.” ² 

So I ask, God has not rejected his people, has he? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

I ask then, they did not stumble into an irrevocable fall, ¹  did they? Absolutely not! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel ²  jealous.

Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Seeing that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,
