I will get up and go to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned ¹  against heaven ²  and against ³  you.

But stand up ¹  and enter the city and you will be told ²  what you must do.”

But seven years of famine will occur ¹  after them, and all the abundance will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will devastate ²  the land.

If you keep quiet at this time, liberation and protection for the Jews will appear ²  from another source, ³  while you and your father’s household perish. It may very well be ⁴  that you have achieved royal status ⁵  for such a time as this!”
