Do you accomplish amazing things for the dead? Do the departed spirits ¹  rise up and give you thanks? (Selah)

You remove all the wicked of the earth like slag. ¹  Therefore I love your rules. ² 

Your knowledge is beyond my comprehension; it is so far beyond me, I am unable to fathom it. ¹ 

O Lord, of what importance is the human race, ¹  that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, ²  that you should be concerned about them? ³ 

I will focus on your honor and majestic splendor, and your amazing deeds! ¹ 

captains of groups of fifty, the respected citizens, ¹  advisers and those skilled in magical arts, ²  and those who know incantations.

Here is a message about the Valley of Vision: ¹  What is the reason ²  that all of you go up to the rooftops?

Be amazed at this, O heavens! ¹  Be shocked and utterly dumbfounded,” says the Lord.

Babylon will become a heap of ruins. Jackals will make their home there. ¹  It will become an object of horror and of hissing scorn, a place where no one lives. ² 

You will be overcome by ¹  drunkenness and sorrow. The cup of your sister Samaria is a cup of horror and desolation.

“As in the days when you departed from the land of Egypt, I will show you ¹  miraculous deeds.” ² 

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

All the crowds were amazed and said, “Could this one be the Son of David?”

So ¹  they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

Then he went up with them into the boat, and the wind ceased. They were completely astonished,

Now ¹  the people were waiting for Zechariah, and they began to wonder ²  why he was delayed in the holy place. ³ 

But ¹  she was greatly troubled ²  by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. ³ 

For ¹  Peter ²  and all who were with him were astonished ³  at the catch of fish that they had taken,

Her ¹  parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one ²  what had happened.

But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, ¹  the ruler ²  of demons, he casts out demons.”
