“‘Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, ¹  and any furniture he sits on will be unclean. ² 

You must purify each garment and everything that is made of skin, everything made of goat’s hair, and everything made of wood.” ¹ 

All the silver and gold, as well as bronze and iron items, belong to the Lord. ¹  They must go into the Lord’s treasury.”

The roof of my mouth ¹  is as dry as a piece of pottery; my tongue sticks to my gums. ²  You ³  set me in the dust of death. ⁴ 

The one who weeps as he walks along, carrying his bag ¹  of seed, will certainly come in with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves of grain. ² 

If you should pound ¹  the fool in the mortar among the grain ²  with the pestle, his foolishness would not depart from him. ³ 

Your rowers have brought you into surging waters. The east wind has wrecked you in the heart of the seas.

He then said, “This woman represents wickedness,” and he pushed her down into the basket and placed the lead cover on top.

People ¹  do not light a lamp and put it under a basket ²  but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

“Sir,” ¹  the woman ²  said to him, “you have no bucket and the well ³  is deep; where then do you get this ⁴  living water? ⁵ 

and the rest were to follow, ¹  some on planks ²  and some on pieces of the ship. ³  And in this way ⁴  all were brought safely to land.

Then ¹  the fourth angel ²  poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch people ³  with fire.

Finally ¹  the seventh angel ²  poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying: “It is done!”

Before he had finished praying, there came Rebekah ¹  with her water jug on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah (Milcah was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor). ² 

Now the young woman was very beautiful. She was a virgin; no man had ever had sexual relations with her. ¹  She went down to the spring, filled her jug, and came back up.

Here I am, standing by the spring. ¹  When ²  the young woman goes out to draw water, I’ll say, “Give me a little water to drink from your jug.”

“Before I finished praying in my heart, ¹  along came Rebekah ²  with her water jug on her shoulder! She went down to the spring and drew water. So I said to her, ‘Please give me a drink.’

She quickly lowered her jug from her shoulder and said, ‘Drink, and I’ll give your camels water too.’ So I drank, and she also gave the camels water.

“You are also to make a large bronze ¹  basin with a bronze stand ²  for washing. You are to put it between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it, ³ 

He made the large basin of bronze and its pedestal of bronze from the mirrors of the women who served ¹  at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
