I also heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter; slaughter ¹  and eat!’

Many of those who had believed came forward, ¹  confessing and making their deeds known. ² 

From Miletus ¹  he sent a message ²  to Ephesus, telling the elders of the church to come to him. ³ 

Surely you recall ¹  that I used to tell you these things while I was still with you.

And do not lord it over ¹  those entrusted to you, ²  but be examples to the flock.

and, by the signs he was permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, he deceived those who live on the earth. He told ¹  those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who had been wounded by the sword, but still lived.

When they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported ¹  all the things God ²  had done with them, and that he had opened a door ³  of faith for the Gentiles.

For God, whom I serve in my spirit by preaching the gospel ¹  of his Son, is my witness that ²  I continually remember you

because I know your eagerness to help. ¹  I keep boasting to the Macedonians about this eagerness of yours, ²  that Achaia has been ready to give ³  since last year, and your zeal to participate ⁴  has stirred up most of them. ⁵
