You will not always be angry with me, will you? You will not be mad at me forever, will you?’ ¹  That is what you say, but you continually do all the evil that you can.” ² 

You plant them like trees and they put down their roots. ¹  They grow prosperous and are very fruitful. ²  They always talk about you, but they really care nothing about you. ³

So do not say, ¹  ‘We have found wisdom! God will refute ²  him, not man!’

What man is like Job, who ¹  drinks derision ²  like water!

“Who is this ¹  who darkens counsel ²  with words without knowledge?

The godly speak wise words and promote justice. ¹ 

They mock ¹  and say evil things; ²  they proudly threaten violence. ³ 

A worthless and wicked person ¹  walks around saying perverse ²  things; ³
