They will report that the fords have been captured, the reed marshes have been burned, the soldiers are terrified. ¹ 

The sun and moon stand still in their courses; ¹  the flash of your arrows drives them away, ²  the bright light of your lightning-quick spear. ³ 

So ¹  he got up and rebuked ²  the wind, and said to the sea, ³  “Be quiet! Calm down!” Then ⁴  the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and lower ¹  your nets for a catch.”

Then ¹  he came up ²  and touched ³  the bier, ⁴  and those who carried it stood still. He ⁵  said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!”

So he ordered the chariot to stop, and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, ¹  and Philip baptized ²  him.

Therefore be alert, ¹  remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning ²  each one of you with tears.

yet was rebuked ¹  for his own transgression (a dumb donkey, ²  speaking with a human voice, ³  restrained the prophet’s madness). ⁴ 

When he finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him. ¹ 

the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. ¹  It piled up far upstream ²  at Adam (the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea). ³  The people crossed the river opposite Jericho. ⁴ 

When Saul ¹  had finished prophesying, he went to the high place.

Now the Philistines had come and raided ¹  the Valley of Rephaim.

Thus the poor have hope, and iniquity ¹  shuts its mouth. ² 

the chief men refrained from talking and covered their mouths with their hands;

Then blind eyes will open, deaf ears will hear.

The cherubim spread ¹  their wings, and they rose up from the earth ²  while I watched (when they went the wheels went alongside them). They stopped at the entrance to the east gate of the Lord’s temple as the glory of the God of Israel hovered above them.

“‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: On the day it ¹  went down to Sheol I caused observers to lament. ²  I covered it with the deep and held back its rivers; its plentiful water was restrained. I clothed Lebanon in black for it, and all the trees of the field wilted because of it.

When they saw the star they shouted joyfully. ¹ 

Now when the Pharisees ¹  heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, ²  they assembled together. ³ 

and he would not permit anyone to carry merchandise ¹  through the temple courts. ²
