He made a covering for the tent out of ram skins dyed red and over that a covering of fine leather. ¹ 

He made a hanging for the entrance of the tent of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen, the work of an embroiderer,

He made the large basin of bronze and its pedestal of bronze from the mirrors of the women who served ¹  at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

and the gold altar, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;

You are to put the altar for the burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

“You are to bring ¹  Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Then he put the large basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it ¹  for washing.

Whenever they entered ¹  the tent of meeting, and whenever they approached ²  the altar, they would wash, ³  just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar’s sides.

the assembly must present a young bull for a sin offering when the sin they have committed ¹  becomes known. They must bring it before the Meeting Tent,

The priest who offers it for sin is to eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the Meeting Tent.

So they took what Moses had commanded to the front of ¹  the Meeting Tent and the whole congregation presented them and stood before the Lord.

Moses and Aaron then entered into the Meeting Tent. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

“On the eighth day he must bring them for his purification to the priest at the entrance ¹  of the Meeting Tent before the Lord,

“When he has finished purifying the holy place, ¹  the Meeting Tent, and the altar, he is to present the live goat.

“Aaron must then enter ¹  the Meeting Tent and take off the linen garments which he had put on when he entered the sanctuary, and leave them there.

but does not bring it to the entrance of the Meeting Tent to offer it ¹  to the Lord – that person will be cut off from his people. ² 

“Every one ¹  of the Israelites must camp ²  under his standard with the emblems of his family; ³  they must camp at some distance ⁴  around the tent of meeting. ⁵ 

They are responsible for his needs ¹  and the needs of the whole community before the tent of meeting, by attending ²  to the service of the tabernacle.
