True ¹  righteousness leads to ²  life, but the one who pursues evil pursues it ³  to his own death. ⁴ 

The way of a fool ¹  is right ²  in his own opinion, ³  but the one who listens to advice is wise. ⁴ 

Every wise woman ¹  builds ²  her household, ³  but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

The backslider ¹  will be paid back ²  from his own ways, but a good person will be rewarded ³  for his.

All a person’s ways ¹  seem right ²  in his own opinion, ³  but the Lord evaluates ⁴  the motives. ⁵

There is a generation who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not washed ¹  from their filthiness. ² 

The fool folds his hands and does no work, ¹  so he has nothing to eat but his own flesh. ² 

Here is ¹  a misfortune ²  on earth ³  that I have seen: Wealth hoarded by its owner to his own misery.

¹ As for all the kings of the nations, all of them ²  lie down in splendor, ³  each in his own tomb. ⁴ 

But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. They have turned aside and gone their own way. ¹ 

Indeed, there is hope for your posterity. ¹  Your children will return to their own territory. I, the Lord, affirm it! ² 

They set up their disgusting idols in the temple which I have claimed for my own ¹  and defiled it.
