I will lead people, my people Israel, across you; they will possess you and you will become their inheritance. No longer will you bereave them of their children.

I will no longer hide my face from them, when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, ¹  declares the sovereign Lord.”

O Samaria, he has rejected your calf idol! My anger burns against them! They will not survive much longer without being punished, ¹  even though they are Israelites!

Our food has been cut off right before our eyes! ¹  There is no longer any joy or gladness in the temple of our God! ² 

I will remove your idols and sacred pillars from your midst; you will no longer worship what your own hands made.

And people will settle there, and there will no longer be the threat of divine extermination – Jerusalem will dwell in security.

No one ¹  was able to answer him a word, and from that day on no one dared to question him any longer.

So many gathered that there was no longer any room, not even by ¹  the door, and he preached the word to them.

While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house saying, “Your daughter has died. Why trouble the teacher any longer?”

While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer.”

Jesus answered, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  and perverse generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you and endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring your son here.”

Then ¹  his son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven ²  and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ ³ 

In fact, they can no longer die, because they are equal to angels ¹  and are sons of God, since they are ²  sons ³  of the resurrection.

Then Jesus said, “I will be with you for only a little while longer, ¹  and then ²  I am going to the one who sent me.

In a little while ¹  the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

I will not speak with you much longer, ¹  for the ruler of this world is coming. ²  He has no power over me, ³ 

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. ¹  But they no longer have any excuse for their sin.

We know ¹  that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die ²  again; death no longer has mastery over him.

Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer me doing it but sin that lives in me.

And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised. ¹
