Elisha died and was buried. ¹  Moabite raiding parties invaded ²  the land at the beginning of the year. ³

Then Isaac breathed his last and joined his ancestors. ¹  He died an old man who had lived a full life. ²  His sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of Aaron’s two sons when they approached the presence of the Lord ¹  and died,

He must not eat an animal that has died of natural causes ¹  or an animal torn by beasts and thus become unclean by it. I am the Lord.

¹ Then the entire community of Israel ²  entered the wilderness of Zin in the first month, ³  and the people stayed in Kadesh. ⁴  Miriam died and was buried there. ⁵
