the altar for the burnt offering with its bronze grating that is on it, its poles, and all its utensils; the large basin and its pedestal;

and the gold altar, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;

You are to put ¹  the gold altar for incense in front of the ark of the testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

You are to put the altar for the burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

Then he put the large basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it ¹  for washing.

Whenever they entered ¹  the tent of meeting, and whenever they approached ²  the altar, they would wash, ³  just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And he set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and put the curtain at the gate of the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.

Then the sons of Aaron, the priests, must arrange the parts with the head and the suet ¹  on the wood that is in the fire on the altar. ² 

“‘You must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to the Lord. Present it to the priest, ¹  and he will bring it to the altar.

You can present them to the Lord as an offering of first fruit, ¹  but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.

lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar’s sides.

Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a food gift for a soothing aroma – all the fat belongs to the Lord.

– just as it is taken from the ox of the peace offering sacrifice ¹  – and the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.

“‘This is the law of the grain offering. The sons of Aaron are to present it ¹  before the Lord in front of the altar,

Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar ¹  as a gift to the Lord. It is a guilt offering.

and the priest must offer the fat up in smoke on the altar, but the breast will belong to Aaron and his sons.

He then slaughtered the burnt offering, and his sons ¹  handed ²  the blood to him and he splashed ³  it against the altar’s sides.

The burnt offering itself they handed ¹  to him by its parts, including the head, ²  and he offered them up in smoke on the altar,

and he washed the entrails and the legs and offered them up in smoke on top of the burnt offering on the altar.

“When he has finished purifying the holy place, ¹  the Meeting Tent, and the altar, he is to present the live goat.
