Listen! ¹  I am going to make those people from the synagogue ²  of Satan – who say they are Jews yet ³  are not, but are lying – Look, I will make ⁴  them come and bow down ⁵  at your feet and acknowledge ⁶  that I have loved you.

O Lord, I love the temple where you live, ¹  the place where your splendor is revealed. ²

and sent word through Nathan the prophet that he should be named Jedidiah ¹  for the Lord’s sake.

The Maidens to The Beloved: Why is your beloved better than others, ¹  O most beautiful of women? Why is your beloved better than others, that you would command us in this manner?
