and repentance ¹  for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ²  in his name to all nations, ³  beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴ 

The true light, who gives light to everyone, ¹  was coming into the world. ² 

But they will do all these things to you on account of ¹  my name, because they do not know the one who sent me. ² 

Everything ¹  I have belongs to you, ²  and everything you have belongs to me, ³  and I have been glorified by them. ⁴ 

Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, ¹  came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?” ² 

After this Jesus, realizing that by this time ¹  everything was completed, ²  said (in order to fulfill the scripture), ³  “I am thirsty!” ⁴ 

“Go and stand in the temple courts ¹  and proclaim ²  to the people all the words of this life.”

In it ¹  were all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles ²  of the earth and wild birds. ³ 

When they had accomplished ¹  everything that was written ²  about him, they took him down ³  from the cross ⁴  and placed him ⁵  in a tomb.

In ¹  past ²  generations he allowed all the nations ³  to go their own ways,

nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, ¹  because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone. ² 

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.

For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function,

And again, “Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him.” ¹ 

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you,

Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

I praise you ¹  because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.

It is one and the same Spirit, distributing as he decides to each person, who produces all these things.
