Now as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, ¹ 

“What do you think about the Christ? ¹  Whose son is he?” They said, “The son of David.” ² 

for this is my blood, the blood ¹  of the covenant, ²  that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.

Those who had seen what had happened to the demon-possessed man reported it, and they also told about the pigs.

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, ¹ 

When they came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and experts in the law ¹  arguing with them.

So ¹  the child’s ²  father ³  and mother were amazed ⁴  at what was said about him.

This ¹  report ²  about Jesus ³  circulated ⁴  throughout ⁵  Judea and all the surrounding country.

But the Lord ¹  answered her, ²  “Martha, Martha, ³  you are worried and troubled ⁴  about many things,

When he went out from there, the experts in the law ¹  and the Pharisees began to oppose him bitterly, ²  and to ask him hostile questions ³  about many things,

Now ¹  while some were speaking about the temple, how it was adorned ²  with beautiful stones and offerings, ³  Jesus ⁴  said,

When ¹  those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said, “Lord, should ²  we use our swords?” ³ 

Then ¹  beginning with Moses and all the prophets, ²  he interpreted to them the things written about ³  himself in all the scriptures.

He came as a witness ¹  to testify ²  about the light, so that everyone ³  might believe through him.

Then they said to him, “Who are you? Tell us ¹  so that we can give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

So the Pharisees ¹  objected, ²  “You testify about yourself; your testimony is not true!” ³ 

Who among you can prove me guilty ¹  of any sin? ²  If I am telling you ³  the truth, why don’t you believe me?

so many of the Jewish people of the region ¹  had come to Martha and Mary to console them ²  over the loss of their brother.) ³ 

So Simon Peter ¹  gestured to this disciple ²  to ask Jesus ³  who it was he was referring to. ⁴
