I ¹  have given her time to repent, but ²  she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality.

“A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud wailing, ¹  Rachel weeping for her children, and she did not want to be comforted, because they were ²  gone.” ³ 

In ¹  everything, treat others as you would want them ²  to treat you, ³  for this fulfills ⁴  the law and the prophets.

He stretched out his hand and touched ¹  him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Go and learn what this saying means: ‘I want mercy and not sacrifice.’ ¹  For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

He said, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So ¹  the slaves replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them?’

For whoever wants to save his life ¹  will lose it, ²  but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

“For this reason, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves. ¹ 

Am I not ¹  permitted to do what I want with what belongs to me? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ ² 

The father ¹  went to the other son and said the same thing. This boy answered, ²  ‘I will, sir,’ but did not go.

They ¹  tie up heavy loads, hard to carry, and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing even to lift a finger to move them.

and said, “What will you give me to betray him into your hands?” ¹  So they set out thirty silver coins for him.

Now on the first day of the feast of ¹  Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and said, ²  “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?” ³ 

So after they had assembled, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus ¹  Barabbas or Jesus who is called the Christ?” ² 

The ¹  governor asked them, “Which of the two do you want me to release for you?” And they said, “Barabbas!”

Now ¹  a leper ²  came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help. “If ³  you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.

Immediately she hurried back to the king and made her request: ¹  “I want the head of John the Baptist on a platter immediately.”

After Jesus ¹  left there, he went to the region of Tyre. ²  When he went into a house, he did not want anyone to know, but ³  he was not able to escape notice.

After he sat down, he called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

Then ¹  James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”
