They answered, “Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, ¹  and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

Tell us then, what do you think? Is it right ¹  to pay taxes ²  to Caesar ³  or not?”

I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom ¹  than for that town! ²

But Jesus ¹  said to him, “Man, ²  who made me a judge or arbitrator between you two?” ³

Jesus replied, ¹  “Are you saying this on your own initiative, ²  or have others told you about me?”
