Nebuzaradan, the captain of the royal guard, took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the governor’s residence ¹  and gathered the whole cohort ²  around him.

He went on to say, “Why is my lord chasing his servant? What have I done? What wrong have I done? ¹

They helped David fight against raiding bands, for all of them were warriors and leaders in the army.
