So he said to me, “All right then, I will substitute cow’s manure instead of human excrement. You will cook your food over it.”

When the wall has collapsed, people will ask you, “Where is the whitewash you coated it with?”

He despised the oath by breaking the covenant. Take note ¹  – he gave his promise ²  and did all these things – he will not escape!

“But suppose he in turn has a son who notices all the sins his father commits, considers them, and does not follow his father’s example. ¹ 

When all this comes true – and it certainly will ¹  – then they will know that a prophet was among them.”

As I watched, I saw ¹  tendons on them, then muscles appeared, ²  and skin covered over them from above, but there was no breath ³  in them.

Then he brought me to the outer court. I saw ¹  chambers there, and a pavement made for the court all around; thirty chambers faced the pavement.

Look, ¹  the Lord is coming out of his dwelling place! He will descend and march on the earth’s mountaintops! ² 

Then he cried out to me, “Look! The ones going to the northland have brought me ¹  peace about the northland.” ² 

Look, I will send you Elijah ¹  the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.

so ¹  I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’

For the instant ¹  the sound of your greeting reached my ears, ²  the baby in my womb leaped for joy. ³ 

An ¹  angel of the Lord ²  appeared to ³  them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were absolutely terrified. ⁴ 

Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, he has done nothing ¹  deserving death. ² 

Yet here he is, speaking publicly, ¹  and they are saying nothing to him. ²  Do the rulers really know that this man ³  is the Christ? ⁴ 

and said, ¹  ‘Do not be afraid, Paul! You must stand before ²  Caesar, ³  and God has graciously granted you the safety ⁴  of all who are sailing with you.’

“Then I said, ‘Here I am: ¹  I have come – it is written of me in the scroll of the book – to do your will, O God.’” ² 

then he says, “Here I am: I have come to do your will.” ¹  He does away with ²  the first to establish the second.

For here he is! He ¹  formed the mountains and created the wind. He reveals ²  his plans ³  to men. He turns the dawn into darkness ⁴  and marches on the heights of the earth. The Lord, the God who commands armies, ⁵  is his name!”

‘You expected a large harvest, but instead ¹  there was little, and when you brought it home it disappeared right away. ²  Why?’ asks the Lord who rules over all. ‘Because my temple remains in ruins, thanks to each of you favoring his own house! ³
