So I prophesied as I was commanded. There was a sound when I prophesied – I heard ¹  a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

At that very moment the fingers of a human hand appeared ¹  and wrote on the plaster of the royal palace wall, opposite the lampstand. ²  The king was watching the back ³  of the hand that was writing.

While I was contemplating all this, ¹  a male goat ²  was coming from the west over the surface of all the land ³  without touching the ground. This goat had a conspicuous horn ⁴  between its eyes.

Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any more, but ¹  went on his way rejoicing. ² 

seven fine-looking, fat cows were coming up out of the Nile, ¹  and they grazed in the reeds.

Then seven fat and fine-looking cows were coming up out of the Nile, and they grazed in the reeds. ¹ 

When ¹  the cloud departed from above the tent, Miriam became ²  leprous ³  as snow. Then Aaron looked at ⁴  Miriam, and she was leprous!

In the middle of the night he was startled ¹  and turned over. ²  Now ³  he saw a woman ⁴  lying beside him! ⁵ 

May death destroy them! ¹  May they go down alive into Sheol! ²  For evil is in their dwelling place and in their midst.

So then, if you bring your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,

They ¹  cried out, “Son of God, leave us alone! ²  Have you come here to torment us before the time?” ³ 

But ¹  a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge ³  of his cloak. ⁴ 

But ¹  one of those with Jesus grabbed ²  his sword, drew it out, and struck the high priest’s slave, ³  cutting off his ear.

But ¹  Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” They ²  came to him, held on to his feet and worshiped him.

Then ¹  seven heads of grain, thin and burned by the east wind, were sprouting up after them.

The Lord called to Samuel, and he replied, “Here I am!”

Indeed, ¹  you are my lamp, ²  Lord. The Lord illumines ³  the darkness around me. ⁴ 

He who removes mountains suddenly, ¹  who overturns them in his anger; ² 

his food is turned sour ¹  in his stomach; ²  it becomes the venom of serpents ³  within him.

That is why snares surround you, and why sudden fear terrifies you,
