He gave him ¹  the blueprints of all he envisioned ²  for the courts of the Lord’s temple, all the surrounding rooms, the storehouses of God’s temple, and the storehouses for the holy items.

How great is your favor, ¹  which you store up for your loyal followers! ²  In plain sight of everyone you bestow it on those who take shelter ³  in you. ⁴ 

From that time ¹  when one came expecting a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures from it, there were only twenty.

His winnowing fork ¹  is in his hand, and he will clean out his threshing floor and will gather his wheat into the storehouse, ²  but the chaff he will burn up with inextinguishable fire.” ³ 

Look at the birds in the sky: ¹  They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds ²  them. Aren’t you more valuable ³  than they are?

Then he said to them, “Therefore every expert in the law ¹  who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

We have plenty of straw and feed,” she added, ¹  “and room for you ²  to spend the night.”

He had ¹  so many sheep ²  and cattle ³  and such a great household of servants that the Philistines became jealous ⁴  of him.

Then they took him and threw him into the cistern. (Now the cistern was empty; ¹  there was no water in it.)

Solomon made so many of these items they did not weigh the bronze. ¹ 

He fortified these cities and placed officers in them, as well as storehouses of food, olive oil, and wine.

In the third month they began piling their contributions in heaps ¹  and finished in the seventh month.

Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers who were guarding the storerooms at the gates.

Then all of Judah brought the tithe of the grain, the new wine, and the olive oil to the storerooms.

if I have rejoiced because of the extent of my wealth, or because of the great wealth my hand had gained,

The godless at heart ¹  nourish anger, ²  they do not cry out even when he binds them.

“In what direction ¹  does light reside, and darkness, where is its place,

Wicked men ¹  will be wiped out, ²  but those who rely on the Lord are the ones who will possess the land. ³ 

If we had rejected our God, ¹  and spread out our hands in prayer to another god, ²
