Do not look on the wine when it is red, when it sparkles ¹  in the cup, when it goes down smoothly. ² 

It is not for kings, ¹  O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, ²  or for rulers to crave strong drink, ³ 

Go, eat your food ¹  with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, because God has already approved your works.
