Now ¹  while some were speaking about the temple, how it was adorned ²  with beautiful stones and offerings, ³  Jesus ⁴  said,

Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the head steward,” ¹  and they did.

Now a dispute came about between some of John’s disciples and a certain Jew ¹  concerning ceremonial washing. ² 

A Samaritan woman ¹  came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me some water ²  to drink.”

When they heard these words, some of the crowd ¹  began to say, “This really ²  is the Prophet!” ³ 

Some of the Pharisees ¹  who were with him heard this ²  and asked him, ³  “We are not blind too, are we?” ⁴ 

Then they secretly instigated ¹  some men to say, “We have heard this man ²  speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

and after taking some food, his strength returned. For several days ¹  he was with the disciples in Damascus,

For you are bringing some surprising things ¹  to our ears, so we want to know what they ²  mean.”

While ¹  Apollos was in Corinth, ²  Paul went through the inland ³  regions ⁴  and came to Ephesus. ⁵  He ⁶  found some disciples there ⁷ 

For I long to see you, so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift ¹  to strengthen you,

For Macedonia and Achaia are pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

And let us not put Christ ¹  to the test, as some of them did, and were destroyed by snakes. ² 

The sins of some people are obvious, going before them into judgment, but for others, they show up later. ¹ 

Yes, brother, let me have some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ. ¹ 

In the same way, there are also some among you who follow the teaching of the Nicolaitans. ¹ 

For there are some eunuchs who were that way from birth, ¹  and some who were made eunuchs ²  by others, ³  and some who became eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who is able to accept this should accept it.”

I tell you the truth, ¹  there are some standing here who will not ²  experience ³  death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” ⁴ 

Then some Pharisees ¹  came to him in order to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful ²  to divorce a wife for any cause?” ³ 

‘No,’ they replied. ¹  ‘There won’t be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
