I ¹  have not even permitted my mouth ²  to sin by asking ³  for his life through a curse –

If the river rages, ¹  it is not disturbed, it is secure, ²  though the Jordan should surge up to its mouth.

Smoke ascended from ¹  his nose; ²  fire devoured as it came from his mouth; ³  he hurled down fiery coals. ⁴ 

Rescue me from the mouth of the lion, ¹  and from the horns of the wild oxen! ²  You have answered me! ³ 

As when one plows and breaks up the soil, ¹  so our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

The tongue of the wise ¹  treats knowledge correctly, ²  but the mouth of the fool spouts out ³  folly.

The heart of the righteous considers ¹  how ²  to answer, ³  but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. ⁴ 

The mouth of a fool is his ruin, and his lips are a snare for his life. ¹ 

The sluggard plunges ¹  his hand in the dish, and he will not even bring it back to his mouth! ² 

Bread gained by deceit ¹  tastes sweet to a person, ²  but afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel. ³ 

The one who goes about gossiping ¹  reveals secrets; therefore do not associate ²  with someone who is always opening his mouth. ³ 

Like legs that hang limp ¹  from the lame, so ²  is a proverb ³  in the mouth of fools.

The sluggard plunges ¹  his hand in the dish; he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth. ² 

The one whose appetite ¹  is satisfied loathes honey, but to the hungry mouth ²  every bitter thing is sweet.

If you have done foolishly by exalting yourself ¹  or if you have planned evil, put ²  your hand over your mouth!

Open your mouth ¹  on behalf of those unable to speak, ²  for the legal rights of all the dying. ³ 

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that everything comes – both calamity and blessing? ¹ 

So now, you are banished ¹  from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

“We can’t,” they said, “until all the flocks are gathered and the stone is rolled off the mouth of the well. Then we water ¹  the sheep.”

When one of them ¹  opened his sack to get feed for his donkey at their resting place, ²  he saw his money in the mouth of his sack. ³
