“How long will you speak these things, ¹  seeing ²  that the words of your mouth are like a great ³  wind? ⁴ 

Although I am innocent, ¹  my mouth ²  would condemn me; ³  although I am blameless, it would declare me perverse. ⁴ 

I summon ¹  my servant, but he does not respond, even though I implore ²  him with my own mouth.

if he retains it for himself and does not let it go, and holds it fast in his mouth, ¹ 

so that my heart was secretly enticed, and my hand threw them a kiss from my mouth, ¹ 

I ¹  have not even permitted my mouth ²  to sin by asking ³  for his life through a curse –

If the river rages, ¹  it is not disturbed, it is secure, ²  though the Jordan should surge up to its mouth.

Smoke ascended from ¹  his nose; ²  fire devoured as it came from his mouth; ³  he hurled down fiery coals. ⁴ 

Rescue me from the mouth of the lion, ¹  and from the horns of the wild oxen! ²  You have answered me! ³ 

As when one plows and breaks up the soil, ¹  so our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

The tongue of the wise ¹  treats knowledge correctly, ²  but the mouth of the fool spouts out ³  folly.

The heart of the righteous considers ¹  how ²  to answer, ³  but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. ⁴ 

The mouth of a fool is his ruin, and his lips are a snare for his life. ¹ 

The sluggard plunges ¹  his hand in the dish, and he will not even bring it back to his mouth! ² 

Bread gained by deceit ¹  tastes sweet to a person, ²  but afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel. ³ 

The one who goes about gossiping ¹  reveals secrets; therefore do not associate ²  with someone who is always opening his mouth. ³ 

Like legs that hang limp ¹  from the lame, so ²  is a proverb ³  in the mouth of fools.

The one whose appetite ¹  is satisfied loathes honey, but to the hungry mouth ²  every bitter thing is sweet.

If you have done foolishly by exalting yourself ¹  or if you have planned evil, put ²  your hand over your mouth!
