that is, ¹  into ²  an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you,

He ¹  performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of people ² 

It is not in heaven, as though one must say, “Who will go up to heaven to get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

Everything that the God of heaven has required should be precisely done for the temple of the God of heaven. Why should there be wrath ¹  against the empire of the king and his sons?

“See that you do not disdain one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. ¹ 

Where did John’s baptism come from? From heaven or from people?” ¹  They discussed this among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’

“Immediately ¹  after the suffering ²  of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken. ³ 

Then ¹  the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, ²  and ³  all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They ⁴  will see the Son of Man arriving on the clouds of heaven ⁵  with power and great glory.

Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but my Father is giving you the true bread from heaven.

and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here ¹  looking up into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven ²  will come back in the same way you saw him go into heaven.”

Then ¹  they ²  heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them: “Come up here!” So the two prophets ³  went up to heaven in a cloud while ⁴  their enemies stared at them.

The fountains of the deep and the floodgates of heaven were closed, ¹  and the rain stopped falling from the sky.

He blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by ¹  the Most High God, Creator ²  of heaven and earth. ³ 

But the Lord’s angel ¹  called to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am!” he answered.

So Moses extended his hand toward heaven, and there was absolute darkness ¹  throughout the land of Egypt for three days. ² 

Just before ¹  the Lord took Elijah up to heaven in a windstorm, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal.

King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz prayed about this and cried out to heaven.

¹ “Artaxerxes, king of kings, to Ezra the priest, a scribe of the perfect law of the God of heaven:

The king responded, ¹  “What is it you are seeking?” Then I quickly prayed to the God of heaven

Under the whole heaven he lets it go, even his lightning to the far corners ¹  of the earth.
