None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering. ¹ 

And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. The glory of the heavenly body is one sort and the earthly another.

For every one of God’s promises are “Yes” in him; therefore also through him the “Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

to the praise of the glory of his grace ¹  that he has freely bestowed on us in his dearly loved Son. ² 

so that we, who were the first to set our hope ¹  on Christ, ²  would be to the praise of his glory.

who is the down payment ¹  of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, ²  to the praise of his glory.

I pray that ¹  the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ²  may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation ³  in your growing knowledge of him, ⁴ 

For this reason I ask you ¹  not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, ²  which ³  is your glory. ⁴ 

I pray that ¹  according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,

God wanted to make known to them the glorious ¹  riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

exhorting and encouraging you and insisting that you live in a way worthy of God who calls you to his own kingdom and his glory.

They ¹  will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength, ² 

He called you to this salvation ¹  through our gospel, so that you may possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. ² 

So I endure all things for the sake of those chosen by God, ¹  that they too may obtain salvation in Christ Jesus and its eternal glory. ² 

The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed and will bring me safely ¹  into his heavenly kingdom. To him ²  be glory for ever and ever! ³  Amen.

For he has come to deserve greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house deserves greater honor than the house itself!

And above the ark ¹  were the cherubim ²  of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Now is not the time to speak of these things in detail.

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us ¹  what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. ²  Amen.

Through him you now trust ¹  in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
