I ¹  will sing to my love – a song to my lover about his vineyard. ²  My love had a vineyard on a fertile hill. ³ 

You take olive oil as tribute ¹  to your king, ²  along with many perfumes. ³  You send your messengers to a distant place; you go all the way to Sheol. ⁴ 

You took your embroidered clothing and used it to cover them; you offered my olive oil and my incense to them.

You sat on a magnificent couch, with a table arranged in front of it where you placed my incense and my olive oil.

Then I will make their waters calm, ¹  and will make their streams flow like olive oil, declares the sovereign Lord.

He will provide as a grain offering an ephah for each bull, an ephah for each ram, and a gallon ¹  of olive oil for each ephah of grain. ² 

The grain offering will be an ephah with the ram, and the grain offering with the lambs will be as much as he is able to give, ¹  and a gallon ²  of olive oil with an ephah.

Thus they will provide the lamb, the grain offering, and the olive oil morning by morning, as a perpetual burnt offering.

They drink wine from sacrificial bowls, ¹  and pour the very best oils on themselves. ²  Yet they are not concerned over ³  the ruin ⁴  of Joseph.

“On the eighth day he ¹  must take two flawless male lambs, one flawless yearling female lamb, three-tenths of an ephah of choice wheat flour as a grain offering mixed with olive oil, ²  and one log of olive oil, ³ 

Then the priest is to dip his right forefinger into the olive oil ¹  that is in his left hand, and sprinkle some of the olive oil with his finger seven times before the Lord.

“If the person is poor and does not have sufficient means, ¹  he must take one male lamb as a guilt offering for a wave offering to make atonement for himself, one-tenth of an ephah of choice wheat flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil, ² 

“The appointed responsibility of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest is for the oil for the light, and the spiced incense, and the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil; he also has ¹  the appointed responsibility over all the tabernacle with ²  all that is in it, over the sanctuary and over all its furnishings.” ³ 

Early ¹  in the morning Jacob ²  took the stone he had placed near his head ³  and set it up as a sacred stone. ⁴  Then he poured oil on top of it.

So Jacob set up a sacred stone pillar in the place where God spoke with him. ¹  He poured out a drink offering on it, and then he poured oil on it. ² 

“You are to command the Israelites that they bring ¹  to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, so that the lamps ²  will burn ³  regularly. ⁴ 

and one round flat cake of bread, one perforated cake of oiled bread, and one wafer from the basket of bread made without yeast that is before the Lord.

With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah ¹  of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin ²  of oil from pressed olives, and a fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.

and the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; the hanging for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle;

the pure ¹  lampstand, its lamps, with the lamps set in order, and all its accessories, and oil for the light;
