and a sound message that cannot be criticized, so that any opponent will be at a loss, ¹  because he has nothing evil to say about us.

And God is able to make all grace overflow ¹  to you so that because you have enough ²  of everything in every way at all times, you will overflow ³  in every good work.

let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, ¹  because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience ²  and our bodies washed in pure water.

“‘You must not present to the Lord something blind, or with a broken bone, or mutilated, or with a running sore, ¹  or with a festering eruption, or with a feverish rash. ²  You must not give any of these as a gift ³  on the altar to the Lord.

We know ¹  that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die ²  again; death no longer has mastery over him.

Because they are callous, they have given themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. ¹ 

since you are encountering ¹  the same conflict that you saw me face and now hear that I am facing. ² 

Since I was confident that you would obey, I wrote to you, because I knew that you would do even more than ¹  what I am asking you to do.

So with these things prepared like this, the priests enter continually into the outer tent ¹  as they perform their duties.
