And aren’t all his sisters here with us? Where did he get all this?” ¹ 

Then the slave threw himself to the ground ¹  before him, saying, ²  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you everything.’

Jesus ¹  looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, ²  but for God all things are possible.”

So also you, when you see all these things, know ¹  that he is near, right at the door.

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

He did not speak to them without a parable. But privately he explained everything to his own disciples.

People were completely astounded and said, “He has done everything well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’ ¹  All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Peter began to speak to him, “Look, ¹  we have left everything to follow you!” ² 

“Tell us, when will these things ¹  happen? And what will be the sign that all these things are about to take place?”

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

But Mary treasured up all these words, pondering in her heart what they might mean. ¹ 

So ¹  when Joseph and Mary ²  had performed ³  everything according to the law of the Lord, ⁴  they returned to Galilee, to their own town ⁵  of Nazareth. ⁶ 

After Jesus ¹  had finished teaching all this to the people, ²  he entered Capernaum. ³ 

After ¹  Jesus ²  called ³  the twelve ⁴  together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure ⁵  diseases,

For all the nations of the world pursue ¹  these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Then ¹  after he had spent everything, a severe famine took place in that country, and he began to be in need.

Then ¹  the father ²  said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and everything that belongs to me is yours.

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

and when they returned from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven ¹  and to all the rest.
