That very day Herod and Pilate became friends with each other, ¹  for prior to this they had been enemies. ² 

When ¹  he had taken his place at the table ²  with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, ³  and gave it to them.

After this, ¹  Jesus and his disciples came into Judean territory, and there he spent time with them and was baptizing.

And the one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, ¹  because I always do those things that please him.”

Some of the Pharisees ¹  who were with him heard this ²  and asked him, ³  “We are not blind too, are we?” ⁴ 

Thus they were looking for Jesus, ¹  and saying to one another as they stood in the temple courts, ²  “What do you think? That he won’t come to the feast?”

So the crowd who had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead were continuing to testify about it. ¹ 

They replied, ¹  “Jesus the Nazarene.” He told them, “I am he.” (Now Judas, the one who betrayed him, was standing there with them.) ² 

When they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported ¹  all the things God ²  had done with them, and that he had opened a door ³  of faith for the Gentiles.

When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received ¹  by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported ²  all the things God had done with them. ³ 

And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is happy to live with her, she should not divorce him.

and to you who are being afflicted to give rest together with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed ¹  from heaven with his mighty angels. ² 

Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is a great help ¹  to me in ministry. ² 

Everyone with me greets you. Greet those who love us in the faith. ¹  Grace be with you all. ² 

If we say we have fellowship with him and yet keep on walking ¹  in the darkness, we are lying and not practicing ²  the truth.

Therefore, ¹  repent! If not, I will come against you quickly and make war against those people ²  with the sword of my mouth.

Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, ¹  and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, ²  unless they repent of her deeds.

But you have a few individuals ¹  in Sardis who have not stained ²  their clothes, and they will walk with me dressed ³  in white, because they are worthy.

The angel ¹  who spoke to me had a golden measuring rod with which to measure the city and its foundation stones and wall.

Reach agreement ¹  quickly with your accuser while on the way to court, ²  or he ³  may hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the warden, and you will be thrown into prison.
