I tell you the truth, ¹  wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back in its place! ¹  For all who take hold of the sword will die by the sword.

She had endured a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet instead of getting better, she grew worse.

At once the bleeding stopped, ¹  and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

So ¹  she went out and said to her mother, “What should I ask for?” Her mother ²  said, “The head of John the baptizer.” ³ 

Instead, a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit ¹  immediately heard about him and came and fell at his feet.

The woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician origin. She ¹  asked him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

“But in those days, after that suffering, ¹  the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light;

I tell you the truth, ¹  wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.”

“And look, ¹  your relative ²  Elizabeth has also become pregnant with ³  a son in her old age – although she was called barren, she is now in her sixth month! ⁴ 

So ¹  Mary said, “Yes, ²  I am a servant ³  of the Lord; let this happen to me ⁴  according to your word.” ⁵  Then ⁶  the angel departed from her.

There was also a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old, ¹  having been married to her husband for seven years until his death.

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; ¹  but the one who is forgiven little loves little.”

Then those who are in Judea must flee ¹  to the mountains. Those ²  who are inside the city must depart. Those ³  who are out in the country must not enter it,

(Now it was Mary who anointed the Lord with perfumed oil ¹  and wiped his feet dry with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) ² 

And when she had said this, Martha ¹  went and called her sister Mary, saying privately, ²  “The Teacher is here and is asking for you.” ³ 

‘After this ¹  I ²  will return, and I will rebuild the fallen tent ³  of David; I will rebuild its ruins and restore ⁴  it,

And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is happy to live with her, she should not divorce him.

But any woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered disgraces her head, for it is one and the same thing as having a shaved head.
