But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ¹ 

No one ¹  was able to answer him a word, and from that day on no one dared to question him any longer.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. ¹ 

After ¹  a long time, the master of those slaves came and settled his accounts with them.

When ¹  Jesus had finished saying all these things, he told his disciples,

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.

So many gathered that there was no longer any room, not even by ¹  the door, and he preached the word to them.

Others are the ones sown among thorns: They are those who hear the word,

But Jesus, paying no attention to what was said, told the synagogue ruler, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”

Thus you nullify ¹  the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like this.”

Then ¹  he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

He spoke openly about this. So ¹  Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

They kept this statement to themselves, discussing what this rising from the dead meant.

But at this statement, the man ¹  looked sad and went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ² 

Then ¹  they sent some of the Pharisees ²  and Herodians ³  to trap him with his own words. ⁴ 

But ¹  she was greatly troubled ²  by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. ³ 

That is why ¹  I did not presume ²  to come to you. Instead, say the word, and my servant must be healed. ³ 

This ¹  report ²  about Jesus ³  circulated ⁴  throughout ⁵  Judea and all the surrounding country.

But he replied, ¹  “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey ²  it!”

He answered them, ¹  “I will also ask you a question, and you tell me:
