So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own. ¹ 

But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” ¹ 

So if ¹  Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

When Jesus learned of this, ¹  he said, “You who have such little faith! ²  Why are you arguing ³  among yourselves about having no bread?

And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.

Send them away so that they can go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy something for themselves to eat.”

Then he went up with them into the boat, and the wind ceased. They were completely astonished,

Now ¹  they had forgotten to take bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat.

They kept this statement to themselves, discussing what this rising from the dead meant.

They discussed with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’

But some who were present indignantly said to one another, “Why this waste of expensive ¹  ointment?

They had been asking each other, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?”

After some time ¹  his wife Elizabeth became pregnant, ²  and for five months she kept herself in seclusion. ³  She said, ⁴ 

So ¹  when Joseph and Mary ²  had performed ³  everything according to the law of the Lord, ⁴  they returned to Galilee, to their own town ⁵  of Nazareth. ⁶ 

However, the Pharisees ¹  and the experts in religious law ²  rejected God’s purpose ³  for themselves, because they had not been baptized ⁴  by John. ⁵ ) ⁶ 

But ¹  those who were at the table ²  with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”

For what does it benefit a person ¹  if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?

But when Jesus discerned their innermost thoughts, ¹  he took a child, had him stand by ²  his side,

But the expert, ¹  wanting to justify ²  himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

When a strong man, ¹  fully armed, guards his own palace, ²  his possessions are safe. ³
