but if ¹  it is from God, you will not be able to stop them, or you may even be found ²  fighting against God.” He convinced them, ³ 

When you examine ¹  him yourself, you will be able to learn from him ²  about all these things we are accusing him of doing.” ³ 

Agrippa ¹  said to Festus, ²  “This man could have been released ³  if he had not appealed to Caesar.” ⁴ 

When the ship was caught in it ¹  and could not head into ²  the wind, we gave way to it and were driven ³  along.

So, brothers and sisters, ¹  I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, ²  as infants in Christ.

For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Were you called as a slave? ¹  Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity.

When reading this, ¹  you will be able to ²  understand my insight into this secret ³  of Christ.

Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes ¹  of the devil.

nor to seek glory from people, either from you or from others,

Similarly good works are also obvious, and the ones that are not cannot remain hidden.

Can a fig tree produce olives, my brothers and sisters, ¹  or a vine produce figs? Neither can a salt water spring produce fresh water.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, ¹  and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, ²  without blemish ³  before his glorious presence, ⁴ 

because the great day of their ¹  wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?” ² 

Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart.

Then the disciples came ¹  to Jesus privately and said, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

Or do you think that I cannot call on my Father, and that he would send me more than twelve legions ¹  of angels right now?

and declared, “This man ¹  said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

“He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down ¹  now from the cross, we will believe in him!

Now ¹  a leper ²  came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help. “If ³  you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.
