It is terrible ¹  to show partiality ²  to the wicked, ³  by depriving ⁴  a righteous man of justice.

A crooked witness ¹  scorns justice, and the mouth of the wicked devours ²  iniquity.

Many people seek the face ¹  of a ruler, but it is from the Lord that one receives justice. ² 

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, for the oppression ¹  of the king ²  is severe upon his victim. ³ 

Learn to do what is right! Promote justice! Give the oppressed reason to celebrate! ¹  Take up the cause of the orphan! Defend the rights of the widow! ²
