He ¹  told them many things in parables, ²  saying: “Listen! ³  A sower went out to sow. ⁴ 

As he got out he saw the large crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

When they got out on the beach, ¹  they saw a charcoal fire ready ²  with a fish placed on it, and bread.

We put out to sea ¹  from Troas ²  and sailed a straight course ³  to Samothrace, ⁴  the next day to Neapolis, ⁵ 

Then the brothers sent Paul away to the coast ¹  at once, but Silas and Timothy remained in Berea. ² 

Make ¹  for yourself an ark of cypress ²  wood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover ³  it with pitch inside and out.

Noah entered the ark along with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives because ¹  of the floodwaters.

The flood engulfed the earth for forty days. As the waters increased, they lifted the ark and raised it above the earth.

Instead, they tried to row ¹  back to land, ²  but they were not able to do so ³  because the storm kept growing worse and worse. ⁴ 

For in those days before the flood, people ¹  were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark.

But many saw them leaving and recognized them, and they hurried on foot ¹  from all the towns ²  and arrived there ahead of them. ³ 

People ¹  were eating, ²  they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage – right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then ³  the flood came and destroyed them all. ⁴ 

I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. ¹ 

We went on board ¹  a ship from Adramyttium ²  that was about to sail to various ports ³  along the coast of the province of Asia ⁴  and put out to sea, ⁵  accompanied by Aristarchus, a Macedonian ⁶  from Thessalonica. ⁷ 

For the love of Christ ¹  controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ ²  died for all; therefore all have died.

but I will confirm ¹  my covenant with you. You will enter ²  the ark – you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.

You must bring into the ark two of every kind of living creature from all flesh, ¹  male and female, to keep them alive ²  with you.

The Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, for I consider you godly among this generation. ¹ 

On that very day Noah entered the ark, accompanied by his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, along with his wife and his sons’ three wives. ¹ 

They entered, ¹  along with every living creature after its kind, every animal after its kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, everything with wings. ²
