You know that everyone in the province of Asia ¹  deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.

because I hear ¹  of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love ²  for all the saints. ³ 

From James, ¹  a slave ²  of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad. ³  Greetings!

The one who loves his fellow Christian ¹  resides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. ² 

Therefore go ¹  and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, ²

But we would like to hear from you what you think, for regarding this sect we know ¹  that people ²  everywhere speak against ³  it.”

Or do you not know that as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Now receive the one who is weak in the faith, and do not have disputes over differing opinions. ¹ 

Therefore we must not pass judgment on one another, but rather determine never to place an obstacle or a trap before a brother or sister. ¹

Greet Andronicus and Junia, ¹  my compatriots ²  and my fellow prisoners. They are well known ³  to the apostles, ⁴  and they were in Christ before me.

So, brothers and sisters, ¹  I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, ²  as infants in Christ.

If someone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are.
