But what if God, willing to demonstrate his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects ¹  of wrath ²  prepared for destruction? ³ 

And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is happy to live with her, she should not divorce him.

For even when we were with you, we used to give you this command: “If anyone is not willing to work, neither should he eat.”

Then he said to them, “If you agree ¹  that I may bury my dead, ²  then hear me out. ³  Ask ⁴  Ephron the son of Zohar

So David was no longer willing to bring the ark of the Lord to be with him in the City of David. David left it in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.

But the Lord was unwilling to destroy Judah. He preserved Judah for the sake of ¹  his servant David to whom he had promised a perpetual dynasty. ² 

But the Lord was unwilling to destroy David’s dynasty ¹  because of the promise ²  he had made to give David a perpetual dynasty. ³ 

The one who has ears had better listen! ¹ 

The one who has ears had better listen!” ¹ 

If anyone has ears to hear, he had better listen!” ¹ 

And this is what we intend to do, ¹  if God permits.

If anyone has an ear, he had better listen!

and all the women whose heart stirred them to action and who were skilled ¹  spun goats’ hair.

For I testify, they gave according to their means and beyond their means. They did so voluntarily, ¹ 

But would you like evidence, ¹  you empty fellow, ²  that faith without works is useless? ³ 

You ought to say instead, ¹  “If the Lord is willing, then we will live and do this or that.”

Everyone ¹  whose heart stirred him to action ²  and everyone whose spirit was willing ³  came and brought the offering for the Lord for the work of the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments. ⁴ 

Remain here tonight. Then in the morning, if he agrees to marry you, ¹  fine, ²  let him do so. ³  But if he does not want to do so, I promise, as surely as the Lord lives, to marry you. ⁴  Sleep here until morning.” ⁵ 

While ¹  Jesus ²  was in one of the towns, ³  a man came ⁴  to him who was covered with ⁵  leprosy. ⁶  When ⁷  he saw Jesus, he bowed down with his face to the ground ⁸  and begged him, ⁹  “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

But the man did not want to stay another night. He left ¹  and traveled as far as ²  Jebus (that is, Jerusalem). ³  He had with him a pair of saddled donkeys and his concubine. ⁴
