And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

The one who observes the day does it for the Lord. The ¹  one who eats, eats for the Lord because he gives thanks to God, and the one who abstains from eating abstains for the Lord, and he gives thanks to God.

Now, our God, we give thanks to you and praise your majestic name!

I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and have become my deliverer.

Then the two choirs that gave thanks took their stations ¹  in the temple of God. I did also, along with half the officials with me,

At that moment, ¹  she came up to them ²  and began to give thanks to God and to speak ³  about the child ⁴  to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem. ⁵ 

who risked their own necks for my life. Not only I, but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

For no one remembers you in the realm of death, ¹  In Sheol who gives you thanks? ²

In God I boast all day long, and we will continually give thanks to your name. (Selah)

With a freewill offering I will sacrifice ¹  to you! I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good!

I will give you thanks before the nations, O Master! I will sing praises to you before foreigners! ¹ 

I will give you thanks before the nations, O Lord! I will sing praises to you before foreigners! ¹ 

I will thank the Lord profusely, ¹  in the middle of a crowd ²  I will praise him,

Open for me the gates of the just king’s temple! ¹  I will enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.

Say this prayer: ¹  “Deliver us, O God who delivers us! Gather us! Rescue us from the nations! Then we will give thanks ²  to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds.” ³ 

Deliver us, O Lord, our God! Gather us from among the nations! Then we will give thanks ¹  to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds. ² 

Then ¹  he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. After he took the seven loaves and gave thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples to serve. So ²  they served the crowd.
