He locks the waters in his clouds, and the clouds do not burst with the weight of them.

Confuse them, ¹  O Lord! Frustrate their plans! ²  For I see violence and conflict in the city.

Indeed God strikes the heads of his enemies, the hairy foreheads of those who persist in rebellion. ¹ 

He divided the sea and led them across it; he made the water stand in a heap.

Join with us! ¹  We will all share ²  equally in what we steal.” ³

But Jesus, ¹  realizing their thoughts, said to them, ²  “Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, ³  and a divided household falls. ⁴
