No enemy will be able to exact tribute ¹  from him; ²  a violent oppressor will not be able to humiliate him. ³ 

ע (Ayin) I do what is fair and right. ¹  Do not abandon me to my oppressors!

A poor person ¹  who oppresses the weak is like ²  a driving rain without food. ³ 

About that time King Herod ¹  laid hands on ²  some from the church to harm them. ³

instead in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and poverty ¹  you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you. They ²  will place an iron yoke on your neck until they have destroyed you.

You will then eat your own offspring, ¹  the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you, because of the severity of the siege ²  by which your enemies will constrict you.
