Then I will make their waters calm, ¹  and will make their streams flow like olive oil, declares the sovereign Lord.

Samaria and its king will be carried off ¹  like a twig ²  on the surface of the waters.

So neither the one who plants counts for anything, ¹  nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.

His feet were like polished bronze ¹  refined ²  in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar ³  of many waters.

“These people ¹  have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah ²  and melt in fear over Rezin and the son of Remaliah. ³
