After this the angelic messenger ¹  who had been speaking to me went out and said, “Look, see what is leaving.”

When ¹  the chief priests and the Pharisees ²  heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them.

Now ¹  while some were speaking about the temple, how it was adorned ²  with beautiful stones and offerings, ³  Jesus ⁴  said,

Then they secretly instigated ¹  some men to say, “We have heard this man ²  speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

So Philip started speaking, ¹  and beginning with this scripture ²  proclaimed the good news about Jesus to him.

Then Peter started speaking: ¹  “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people, ² 

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on ¹  all those who heard the message. ² 

But Paul replied, ¹  “I have not lost my mind, most excellent Festus, ²  but am speaking ³  true and rational ⁴  words.

Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Seeing that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

So then, brothers and sisters, ¹  be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid anyone from speaking in tongues. ² 

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music ¹  in ²  your hearts to the Lord,

For he did not put the world to come, ¹  about which we are speaking, ²  under the control of angels.

I ¹  turned to see whose voice was speaking to me, ²  and when I did so, ³  I saw seven golden lampstands,

They were the men who were speaking to Pharaoh king of Egypt, in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. It was the same Moses and Aaron.

When the sound of the horn grew louder and louder, ¹  Moses was speaking ²  and God was answering him with a voice. ³ 

He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God. ¹ 

Have a people ever heard the voice of God speaking from the middle of fire, as you yourselves have, and lived to tell about it?

When the Lord heard you speaking to me, he ¹  said to me, “I have heard what these people have said to you – they have spoken well.

Gideon ¹  said to him, “If you really are pleased with me, ²  then give me ³  a sign as proof that it is really you speaking with me.
