amazing feats in the land of Ham, mighty ¹  acts by the Red Sea.

¹ Some traveled on ²  the sea in ships, and carried cargo over the vast waters. ³ 

He gave the order for a windstorm, ¹  and it stirred up the waves of the sea. ² 

Why do you flee, O sea? Why do you turn back, O Jordan River?

to the one who divided ¹  the Red Sea ²  in two, ³  for his loyal love endures,

and tossed ¹  Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his loyal love endures,

Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea creatures and all you ocean depths,

By his knowledge the primordial sea ¹  was broken open, ²  and the clouds drip down dew. ³ 

The sea has swept over Babylon. She has been covered by a multitude ¹  of its waves. ² 

Then four large beasts came up from the sea; they were different from one another.

But you trample on the sea with your horses, on the surging, raging waters. ¹ 

As the night was ending, ¹  Jesus came to them walking on the sea. ² 

By now a strong wind was blowing and the sea was getting rough.

We found ¹  a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, ²  went aboard, ³  and put out to sea. ⁴ 

and all were baptized ¹  into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

“Tell the Israelites that they must turn and camp ¹  before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you are to camp by the sea before Baal Zephon opposite it. ² 

And as for you, ¹  lift up your staff and extend your hand toward the sea and divide it, so that ²  the Israelites may go through the middle of the sea on dry ground.

And it is not across the sea, as though one must say, “Who will cross over to the other side of the sea and get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

The eastern border was the Salt Sea to the mouth ¹  of the Jordan River. ²  The northern border started north of the Salt Sea at the mouth of the Jordan, ³ 

“The Sea” stood on top of twelve bulls. Three faced northward, three westward, three southward, and three eastward. “The Sea” was placed on top of them, and they all faced outward. ¹
