But Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. As she wept, she bent down and looked into the tomb.

But when they had ordered them to go outside the council, ¹  they began to confer with one another,

For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside?

He made the camels kneel down by the well ¹  outside the city. It was evening, ²  the time when the women would go out to draw water.

She grabbed him by his outer garment, saying, “Have sex with me!” But he left his outer garment in her hand and ran ¹  outside. ² 

It must be eaten in one house; you must not bring any of the meat outside the house, and you must not break a bone of it.

You are to overlay ¹  it with pure gold – both inside and outside you must overlay it, ²  and you are to make a surrounding border ³  of gold over it.

But the meat of the bull, its skin, and its dung you are to burn up ¹  outside the camp. ²  It is the purification offering. ³ 

Then he must take off his clothes and put on other clothes, and he must bring the fatty ashes outside the camp to a ceremonially ¹  clean place,

but the rest of the bull – its hide, its flesh, and its dung – he completely burned up ¹  outside the camp just as the Lord had commanded Moses. ² 

So they came near and carried them away in their tunics to a place outside the camp just as Moses had spoken.

The whole time he has the infection ¹  he will be continually unclean. He must live in isolation, and his place of residence must be outside the camp.

The priest is to go outside the camp and examine the infection. ¹  If the infection of the diseased person has been healed, ² 

then the priest is to command that the stones that had the infection in them be pulled and thrown ¹  outside the city ²  into an unclean place.

You must expel both men and women; you must put them outside the camp, so that ¹  they will not defile their camps, among which I live.”

So the Israelites did so, and expelled them outside the camp. As the Lord had spoken ¹  to Moses, so the Israelites did.

So Miriam was shut outside of the camp for seven days, and the people did not journey on until Miriam was brought back in. ¹ 

Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; the whole community must stone ¹  him with stones outside the camp.”

You must give it to Eleazar the priest so that he can take it outside the camp, and it must be slaughtered before him. ¹ 

You must stand outside and the person to whom you are making the loan will bring out to you what he is offering as security. ¹
