Then I will make their waters calm, ¹  and will make their streams flow like olive oil, declares the sovereign Lord.

The ¹  foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’

“Why wasn’t this oil sold for three hundred silver coins ¹  and the money ²  given to the poor?”

If he presents it on account of thanksgiving, ¹  along with the thank offering sacrifice he must present unleavened loaves mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers smeared with olive oil, ²  and well soaked ³  ring-shaped loaves made of choice wheat flour ⁴  mixed with olive oil.

“You are to command the Israelites that they bring ¹  to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, so that the lamps ²  will burn ³  regularly. ⁴ 

and twelve and a half pounds of cassia, all weighed ¹  according to the sanctuary shekel, and four quarts ²  of olive oil.

the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the Holy Place. They will make all these things just as I have commanded you.”

and the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; the hanging for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle;

and the gold altar, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;

And take ¹  the anointing oil, and anoint ²  the tabernacle and all that is in it, and sanctify ³  it and all its furnishings, and it will be holy.

If your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it must be choice wheat flour mixed with olive oil, unleavened.

If your offering is a grain offering made in a pan, ¹  it must be made of choice wheat flour deep fried in olive oil. ² 

“Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, the sin offering bull, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread,

and sprinkle some of the olive oil that is in his left hand with his right forefinger ¹  seven times before the Lord.

“Command the Israelites to bring ¹  to you pure oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually. ² 

with one-tenth of an ephah ¹  of finely ground flour as a grain offering mixed with one quarter of a hin ²  of pressed olive oil.

with their grain offering of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram,

Their grain offering must be of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil, three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the ram,

You must give them the best of your ¹  grain, new wine, and olive oil, as well as the best of your wool when you shear your flocks.

You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with olive oil, because the olives will drop off the trees while still unripe. ¹
