Yet here he is, speaking publicly, ¹  and they are saying nothing to him. ²  Do the rulers really know that this man ³  is the Christ? ⁴ 

Thus the Pharisees ¹  said to one another, “You see that you can do nothing. Look, the world has run off after him!”

At that time ¹  you will ask me nothing. I tell you the solemn truth, ²  whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. ³ 

But Simon replied, ¹  “You pray to the Lord for me so that nothing of what you have said may happen to ²  me.”

So Saul got up from the ground, but although his eyes were open, ¹  he could see nothing. ²  Leading him by the hand, his companions ³  brought him into Damascus.

(All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there used to spend their time ¹  in nothing else than telling ²  or listening to something new.) ³

I do not set aside ¹  God’s grace, because if righteousness ²  could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing! ³ 

he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in controversies and verbal disputes. This gives rise to envy, dissension, slanders, evil suspicions,

All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

and a sound message that cannot be criticized, so that any opponent will be at a loss, ¹  because he has nothing evil to say about us.

For it is clear that our Lord is descended from Judah, yet Moses said nothing about priests in connection with that tribe.

for the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.
