I know that you are bringing ¹  me to death, to the meeting place for all the living.

Then those living on earth will know what you are like; all nations will know how you deliver your people. ¹ 

Let foreigners ¹  rejoice and celebrate! For you execute justice among the nations, and govern the people living on earth. ²  (Selah)

Over here is the deep, wide sea, ¹  which teems with innumerable swimming creatures, ²  living things both small and large.

May the splendor of the Lord endure! ¹  May the Lord find pleasure in the living things he has made! ² 

I considered all the living who walk on earth, ¹  as well as the successor ²  who would arise ³  in his place.

But whoever is among ¹  the living ²  has hope; a live dog is better than a dead lion.

You must change ¹  the way you have been living and do what is right. You must treat one another fairly. ² 

I will kill everything living in Jerusalem, ¹  people and animals alike! They will die from terrible diseases.

In the fire ¹  were what looked like ²  four living beings. ³  In their appearance they had human form, ⁴ 

“‘See how each of the princes of Israel living within you has used his authority to shed blood. ¹ 

I will remove the sorcery ¹  that you practice, ²  and you will no longer have omen readers living among you. ³ 

Now ¹  there were shepherds ²  nearby ³  living out in the field, keeping guard ⁴  over their flock at night.

Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, ¹  for all live before him.” ² 

So the disciples, each in accordance with his financial ability, ¹  decided ²  to send relief ³  to the brothers living in Judea.

In the same way the Lord commanded those who proclaim the gospel to receive their living by the gospel.

See to it, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  that none of you has ³  an evil, unbelieving heart that forsakes ⁴  the living God. ⁵ 

by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us ¹  through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, ² 

You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.

They will face a reckoning before ¹  Jesus Christ ²  who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.
